Andrew has close to 25 years of property valuation experience. His career commenced in 1987 with Housing New Zealand and prior to joining CAPI in 2005 Andrew held senior management positions with various national valuation and property firms including National Manager Real Estate for Wrightson. His valuation assignments for the firm have encompassed specialised assets such as ports, airports, tertiary institutions and local government stand alone business units, valuations for financing, tax compliance, financial reporting, trust formation, lifestyle subdivisions, horse studs, factory farming, horticulture and compensation purposes. In addition, Andrew has managed the annual valuation review for New Zealand Farming Systems Uruguay. Andrew’s infrastructure experience includes; water and wastewater assets for Watercare Services, Christchurch International Airport and local authorities, valuation of land and buildings for insurance and financial disclosure purposes for Port of Marlborough, Hamilton Airport, Gisborne Airport and Massey University, compensation assessments for Crown entities taking property under the Public Works Act 1981, financial compliance methodology advice to Powerco, land valuation methodology advice to the National Asset Management Steering Group for the New Zealand Infrastructure Asset Valuation and Depreciation Guidelines and compensation advice for easement and right of way property interests acquired by Transpower and Meridian Energy for both new transmission lines and infrastructure upgrades.
Andrew is based in our Christchurch office and has a key role in our infrastructure sector specialised asset valuation and compensation activities and in our dairy and pastoral valuation teams.
