Horticulture

The horticulture industry is based around numerous key crop types such as grapes, kiwifruit, apples, stone fruit, berries, cherries, and citrus and also includes crops grown in controlled environments such as tomatoes, flowers, capsicums, mushrooms, lettuces and nursery crops. The valuation of such operations requires specific knowledge.

Our horticulture specialists offer clients a strong combination of relevant property valuation, advisory, accountancy and transactional knowledge and skills. Not only do we bring a deep understanding of property to each assignment – but we also offer a comprehensive understanding of the associated commercial and capital market imperatives. We project manage each mandate internally and employ quality control systems to maximise both technical and market accuracy.

Our horticulture team operates nationally and comprises Tim Gifford based in Blenheim, Chris Boyd based in Tauranga, together with Greg Petersen, Praveen Menon, Director Tim Crighton and CEO Nigel Mayson based in Christchurch. Brief bios on each team member are provided on this website and more detailed CVs can be made available on request.
